Silicon Micro-powder for TPR Rubber Granulation
Silicon Micro-powder for TPR Rubber Granulation
The TPR/TPU sole rubber granules are specially formulated with high-grade natural quartz (SiO2 content ≥99.2%) and produced through a unique iron-free grinding process, resulting in a white and pure product. It exhibits chemical stability, acid and alkali resistance, a large specific surface area, well-developed pores, high surface activity, low oil absorption, strong thickening capability, heat resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and UV resistance.
Thermoplastic elastomer (TPR/TPU shoe sole rubber particles) with silicon micro-powder exhibits superior properties compared to traditional fillers, including high transparency, high hardness, low oil absorption, easy dispersion, and strong stability. This product demonstrates excellent whiteness and transparency, and the resulting transparent masterbatch can be added to PE films and tubes at up to 30% without compromising the final product's transparency, thereby reducing costs.
The silicon micropowder produced by our company features a mature manufacturing process with stable physical and chemical properties, as well as a rational and controllable particle size distribution. This product series can also be customized to meet customer requirements by adjusting other controllable parameters such as transparency, whiteness, and particle size.

4. Silicon micropowder exhibits the following notable characteristics:
·Silica micro-powder, when used as a filler in organic resin, not only enhances the properties of the cured product but also reduces manufacturing costs.
·It can reduce the exothermic peak temperature of epoxy resin curing reaction, decrease the linear expansion coefficient and shrinkage rate of cured material, thereby eliminating internal stress and preventing cracking.
·The rational particle gradation reduces and eliminates sedimentation and stratification during use; it enhances the tensile and compressive strength of the cured material, improves wear resistance, increases the thermal conductivity of the cured material, and boosts flame retardancy.
·Silica micropowder treated with silane coupling agent exhibits excellent wettability for various resins, superior adsorption properties, easy mixing, and no agglomeration.
·Excellent insulation properties: The silicon micropowder, with its high purity, low impurity content, and stable performance, exhibits outstanding electrical insulation and arc resistance, ensuring the cured material possesses superior insulation and arc resistance.
·Corrosion resistance: Silicon micropowder is resistant to chemical reactions with most acids and alkalis, and its uniform particles coat the surface of objects, providing strong corrosion resistance.
5. The unique advantages of silicone micro-powder for thermoplastic elastomers (TPR/TPU shoe sole compounds):
The TPR shoe material, when filled with specialized silicon micro-powder, exhibits excellent properties including thin consistency, superior permeability and dispersion, as well as strong adhesion. These enhancements significantly improve mechanical performance such as tear resistance and permanent deformation resistance, particularly boosting wear resistance and transparency of rubber products. It also enhances strength, toughness, elongation, smoothness, and anti-aging properties. This product has been widely adopted by numerous shoe sole manufacturers in Jieyang (Guangdong), Huizhou (Guangdong), and Wenzhou (Zhejiang), demonstrating outstanding performance. The product series can also be customized to meet specific customer requirements regarding transparency, whiteness, particle size, and other specifications.
